I Preface
---------

This program is the result of my family's need to send and receive faxes
and phone calls. Luckily I was able to use CapiTelWeb for my answering
machine and I made some security enhancements. Thanks to Denny Mleinek
because he gave me the sources.
FaxWeb is the solution to my family's need to send and receive faxes.
I used some of Denny's code. Thus I'll provide anyone with my code,
of course!

The solution is part of the situation within the home network. I have an
OS/2 server that provides Fidonet, fax, phone and web services at home.
Then there is my friend's computer (Win98) that needs fax, phone and internet
services.

After all she has now a fax solution as well.

II Licence
----------

					FAXWEB IS FREE.

Use the software at your own risk. No warranty is expressed
nor implied. Torsten Schulz is not responsible for any damage
that may result from direct or indirect use of the FAXWEB or
any other programs mentioned or necessary to use FAXWEB.

III Introduction
----------------

The system works as follows:

1 Receiving faxes:

- I use the fidonet mailer binkley and FREC to receive faxes.
- FREC writes a log and info file for the faxes.
- FAXWEB is a CGI program that uses WEB/2 (a web server) the log and fax files and
- NConvert to show them to a web user via http.

2 Sending faxes:

- WEB/2 (web server) receives a fax file (tif) and uses FAXWEB to store and send it
- As I am not able to get FSEND to send the fax files I use BGFAX.
