A few things:
Do these:
[C:\mptn\bin]set user
USER=STANT

[C:\mptn\bin]set hostname
HOSTNAME=DP1

and SEND THIS TO ME.

You have to make sure you tcpip email is set up properly.
Ultimail does not seem to easily deal with multiple ISP connection
addresses.
In an OS/2 window type -> tcpcfg

1.) In the 'Hostname' tab what does it say your hostname is?

2.) Hit the lower right arrow to go to page 2.
    Do you have checked 'Look through HOSTS list before going to
    nameserver?

3.) Do you have at least one entry in the IP addresses window?
    If not try hitting add. Give IP Address = 192.9.200.1
    Hostname = <some name, like say mypc>
    Hit add

4.) Go to the 'Mail' tab

5.) Choose Lan and Internet

6.) Check 'Enable multi-user mail for this workstation'

7.) Enter you Mail user id

8.) Put something like C:\TCPIP\UMAIL\MailStor for 'Mail storage root
    directory'

9.) Hit right arrow to go to page 2 and fill out POP mail info.

10.) Hit lower right arrow. Choose 'When using Ultimail'

11.) Fill in Reply domain (for advantis = 'ibm.net')

12.) Fill in smtp gateway

Goto the 'Autostart' tab.

1.) Go down to sendmail. Check autostart, foreground session,
    minimized

Quit this program and 'SAVE'

If you made significant changes then reboot.

============================================================

By the way, are you having dialip use: ISP: 'Use IBM Advantis Dialer'
so it is using the ibm dialer to connect to advantis?

If so, try in an os/2 window:
1.) type -> start dialip -idadvantis_or_whatever -dl -debug (to
connect)

2.) start ultimail

3.) send mail to yourself.

4.) then open the inbox of ultimail and have it read in your mail.
    If this works we know ultimail will receive your mail because it
    is doing it instead of dialip. If it does not then something else
    is not configured properly.

5.) send yourself another email.

6.) from dialip do menu mail -> Only Get Mail
    this should read the mail and download it to the directory you
    choose and then put it into ultimail. Since ultimail is open
    right now, When it does it you should hear the 3 beeps telling
    you it received new mail.

    If it beeps then ultimail received it
        If it showed up in your inbox, you are all set
        Else ultimail received it but put it under another ID and is
             not showing you its mail. Try to make sure you are
             getting into Ultimail with the same id name as the one
             you use with your ISP.

7.) tell me if this worked.

8.) email me the debug window output. (erase your password)
