=========================================================================== Advanced engine needed : Boom (UMAPINFO + Dehacked Compatible) Primary purpose : Single play =========================================================================== Title : Sectors, Monsters, Violence! Filename : SMV2025.zip Release date : 02-Apr-2026 Author : ShadowyMV Email Address : [redacted] Other Files By Author : No standalone releases, but contributions to various community projects since 2025. Misc. Author Info : Been playing doom since I was far too young and mapping properly since the mid 2020s. Description : 18 Boom format maps, split into three episodes containing six maps each (5 normal, 1 secret). Built off an old forgotten archive of my own early, failed or incomplete maps. Three gameplay demos, custom music, text screens and an intermission map are included via UMAPINFO. Also includes one dehacked enemy that I made to practice my sprite editing skills and learning how to use dehacked. Built mostly during the NaNoWADMo 2025 event. Story: Deep in a forested valley, far beyond the outskirts of civilization, reports have begun surfacing of hellspawn sightings and hidden UAC facilities. The reports are confusing though as the eyewitness reports describe facilities that according to UAC and government archives only existed on incomplete UAC blueprints that were never finished and as such the facilities remained unbuilt. Those facilities - haphazardly structured, where demonic brick, flesh and bone fill the gaps in the steel, are apparently very real. It's as if they were willed into existence by some otherworldly entity. Tasked with finding out just what's going on in that valley, you set out with your trusty pistol side-arm, ready to show hell once again why it should stick to it's own dimension. Additional Credits to : iD software for Doom/Doom II The authors of the tools used to create this project (listed below). My good friend Lee for additional testing of Episode 1 during development.
