This Blues uses the left hand forefinger, middle finger and third finger. It is built around a sentence which is played on three strings. Be careful with the sentence fingerings in measures 5 & 6 because it slightly differs from the others (see notes encircled on score/tablature).
Rhythmically you approach, thanks to this exercise, the playing of a syncopation. I highly advise you to read and practise the part of this method devoted to
rhythm!

To help you play with the sequence, there are two measures "lead in" at the beginning of it ( the famous Drumer's one-two, one-two-three-four). Notice : when the tempo is too slow there is only one measure lead in (one-two-three-four). |
