Target catches on fire on 4+ |
Mankind has used fire as a weapon since before recorded history. Flame is an extremely destructive, if difficult to control, natural phenomenon. The Flamer uses the same basic tried-and-true method of igniting flammable liquid while spewing it at a target. The liquid used is formulated to create a great deal of heat, ignite even flame-resistant materials, and seep through cracks in defenses. A Flamer has a dual effect - if the target is not killed immediately, there is a good chance it will burn to death shortly thereafter. A Flamer can also catch more than one target in a single shot, but is equally as likely to effect a comrade in its path. The main disadvantage of a Flamer is its significantly short range.
