How to use 3.5 inch floppies instead of 5.25 ones.

This assumes you have plain vanilla 3.5" drives of the "IBM" variety, ie strapped as drive 1.

Prepare a straight floppy cable, using a 34-wire flatcable and IDC-terminators.

Assuming cable looks like this: Computer ---------------x---Floppy A ---y-- Floppy B

At "x", cut wires 10 and 12

At "y", cut wires 10 and 12

Run a wire from 10 at the left of x to 12 at the right of x

Run a wire from 12 at the left of x to 12 at the right of y

This routes DS0 to DS1 on A and DS1 to DS1 on B, wire 16 is "motor on" so both floppies will turn simultaneously.
