TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND AFTER CAREFULLY LOOKING
AT EACH FILE IN THIS PACKAGE I, RANDY WRIGHT, CERTIFY
THAT ALL FILES IN THIS PACKAGE MAY BE DISTRIBUTED OVER
ELECTRONIC NETWORKS, HELD IN PUBLICALLY ACCESSIBLE FTP
SITES AND BBS SYSTEMS WITHOUT VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE
COPYRIGHT NOTICES CONTAINED IN THIS SET OF FILES KNOWN
COLLECTIVELY AS COHULIP.

An anonymous ftp site used to carry software specifically
for Coherent. It was known as piggy. One day an announcement
came that piggy was no longer going to carry the software due
to complaints that some of it was copyrighted in such a way
that the site operators wre unsure whether or not they were
breaking the law. Since they hadn't the time to go through
all the files that came in and out of their system, they
decided to stop having the anonymous ftp service. The purpose
of this file is verify that I have looked at the copyright
notices in this package and determined that there is nothing
here that cannot be held on an ftp site, bbs or similar
facility. There is no pirated or undistributable software
in this package. I am NOT saying that you can sell
this software or anything like that, nor am I confering
any rights.

The files included in cohulip derivitives of files by similar
names in packages called KA9Q and K5JB-K29. The original KA9Q
package is copyrighted by Phil Karn. This package contained
netrom support that is copyright in 1989 by Dan Frank. The
netrom files are not included in cohulip. The bootp subsystem
is copyrighted by the Regents of the University of California.
Some of the smtp files are copyrighted by A.D.Barksdale Garbee II
in 1986 and Dave Trulli in 1988. The finger system is copyrighted
in 1988 by Micheal T. Horne (KA7AXD),

Clearly a great deal of good work has been performed by Joe
Buswell, (K5JB) in organizing, testing and cleaning up the
software as well as in editing the documentation. Joe
Buswell's "src/unix.note" file helps clarify the origins
of this package.

I can also spot contributions made by Brian Boesch, N5OWK,
G8BPQ, W5GFE, HP9K5, N5OWK, Mikel Mathews (N9DVG),
Jere Sandige (K4FUM), Ed DeHart (WA3YOA), Charles Hedrick
and John Limpert (N3DMC)

There is specifically public domain source code in wildmat.c
by Rick Saltz, modified by John Gilmore.
